The reason this post is so extravagantly long, and titled Knocking on Heave's Door post, is for obvious reasons that aren't obvious enough for the common reader to think about. So - too bad.

I HATE YOU PEOPLE. Well, I love one of you, I adore (in more of a sympathetic way) one of you, I tolerate one of you only because you're a really good person, and ignoring you compltely will be complete blasphemy, and well - I basically hate the rest of you.

the reason i love my ashlee badanskee (i like doing this rhyming thing alot) is because she told me about ultimate guitar. you go, girl. and now i've got all my tabbing needs. =) don't have to learn to play my tar from turds no more.

Oh but there is this one thing I'd like to vent about...

eventhough i know there's only probably one person on this earth who'd agree with me.

okay, let's say i have these "friends", *snorts*

one's called Sid, one's called Johnny, one's called Posey, one's called Frank, and one's called HeyMomKissMyAssDadLikesItToo.

They're my friends.

Or they used to be.

anyway, Sid and Johnny are the dynamic duo. And that's okay, i'm completely cool with that. no issues there. but i have a whole lotta issues when it comes to something else. You see, Sid and Johnny like to use Posey *i'm not gonna say how*. (just cos she's a girl and they think she could be bullied or not cared for and she wouldn't even mind cos apprently, Sid and Johnny like to take things for granted and they also think the whole world worships the ground they stand on). so anyway. Posey came to me. Cos I'm always the better friend. Compared to these suckers, anyway. And being the better friend that I am, I gave Posey advise. You know what the stupid thing is? Sid and Johnny know what they're doing to Posey here. And they don't seem to care, or want to change, or even bother to try to give the poor girl a little spack of the credit and respect she deserves. That's hardly fair, don't you think? and so well, Posey decided she couldn't take it anymore, and so she vented - to anyone and everyone who'd listen - and whadaya know, Sid and Johnny find out. And like the pretty little saints and angels they were brought up to be, they apologized. Sweet, aren't they? uhh, not. There's no use apologizing, but not changing or correcting.

Another thing. I mentioned ol Frank up there didn't I? Frank and I weren't much of best buds. But we always had this connection - almost psychic - about how each other felt, and how to make things feel better for the other. Well the thing about Sid and Johnny - they're lucky. I dunno why man, their parents must've been heroes back in the day or sumthin - but karma did its thing and made their offspring - our dear Sid and Johnny here - prolly the luckiest two in our little groupie. So for obvious reasons, both of them are happy teeanged boys. Frank isn't. I'm not. Posey's not. But Sid and Johnny? They're so absorbed in their own happiness they almost do not notice that we're only pretending to be happy in their presence, since they're so selfish they only want people to feel how they feel, and once again, they take things for granted - friendship even - to notice that we're only pretending to be happy cos that's what we know makes them happy. The thing about one of them (not saying who), when he's happy, everyone must and should be happy with him. And if he's sad? He'll cry a river and make sure everyone feels pity for him. I know it's kind of sissy for a guy to do that but yeah - people still love him after that anyway. he's such a wuss - and he doesn't even know it. And yeah - poor Frank has to tolerate them everyday, drowning in his own misery - not telling anyone, including his "best friends" Sid and Johnny about his misery because obviously they would not understand.

So Sid and Johnny, take a good look at your friends here.

And for once, don't just apologize, but actually do something about it.

I remember debating with her, telling her how much I thought they sucked and how I would never listen to a single song of theirs for they were "EMOS". Fuck me, I know, I was an effing asshole, the stupidest I had ever been in my miserable life (life was miserable before I found MCR). But despite my hard-headedness, she prevailed. She continued to preach their message =) And then well, i gave in. Because the temptation was too much. I HAD to give these highly recommended dudes a chance. THANK GOD I DID.

Moving on. I'd like to give a BIG smileyy face to Frank of MCR and Hayley of Paramore. Cos before I found out a certain something about these two special people, I hated the world.

Imagine - your "FRIENDS" always hopping about everyday with stupid toothy smiles - stopping only to complain about how tight their shoes are. OF COURSE i hated the world. And then Jo Ee told me about these two bands, and i did some research - and found out - Hey - they're rockstars, they're phenomenal, they're worldwide, and yet they started out same as I did. We all have the same problems - but look at them - ROCK STARS. That gave me hope you know? And comfort, knowing that my favorite people in this big black hole of a world have been through the same, they know how it feels, what it's like, they got over it - and became ROCKSTARS. Awesome! It's a huge relief - suddenly the world seemed happy - made out of rainbows and butterflies... John Lennon perched on the bucket of leprechaun gold while Michael Jackson leads a horde of prancing ballerina-fied little boys down the Yellow Brick Road. Nah, just joking. I'm not high yet.

Oh and thank you to my favorite band. =). you know who you are, and I bet everyone reading this knows too - you've been a HUGE motivator and an inspiration, and a WONDERFUL way of escaping (you should know what this means - if by any chance you're reading this... which is VERY unlikely) ;p. Your lyrics make me sing and your melody makes me PUNK OUT, your videos make me high, your live shows give me shivers, your DVD Documentary made me cry, made me laugh, made me WANT MOOOORE!!!

Oh yeah and to the Haters of this very amazing band?? Go to hell - really. You can't hate this band for being emo - cos they're not - and stop saying that, please. this CNY has been a bomb. completely flawsome. just went to Moreep (if that's how you spell it) with my family yesterday (family includes = many uncles, many uncles' wives, their kids, and so on).

it was ssuuuuuper fun. had picnic at the beach, and played football with the lot of them. my team won 6-5.

and we caught crabs! we went crab hunting and caught a few. and then when the tides were low the whole beach was covered in crabs! like, in the super freaky Attack of the Crabs horror movie style. some were really huge, fyi. and i pierced my leg on something. probably the leftovers of some junkie's douche. so now i'm high. ahaha.

went to rachel's house the night or two nights before, no idea. THAT was super fun too, her parents were angels, and once agian i was stuffed into oblivion. (these people haven't heard of people dying due to overeating).

This post makes up for things i was supposed to post on Wednesday but didn't.

Had to go to KL today. supossed to send sister to a Mogwai concert (That's a post rock band). got a free Junk mag from a stall. the line was massive, and most of the concert goers were Malays wearing hip clothes with awesome hair. This says something - Chinese people have no taste in Music. Anyway, our Rangers commanders, Cmdr Darren, Cmdr Nathaniel and Cmdr Jefferey, along with my sis's friends Julian and Bernard (for some reasom people in Chem call this one 'Bob') came along to join her. This is so unfair. I had to follow my MOM around Suria KLCC for a gruesome 4 hours doing nothing. But i went to Kinokuniya, the bookstore. Muahaha. Deeelicious bookies there. ALL THE BOOKS ARE MINE! MINE!

Anyway, spent most of my time reading the comic books - they boast a wicked comic section. i was basically browsing through the Umbrella Academy - this one was written by Gee, and then browsed through Persepolis - i even have the movie adaption. And then there was this one that caught my attention - Daredevil - by Frank Miller. I mean, FRANK MILLER? the dude that gave me hell with The Spirit? I was like, wtf? my day was officially ruined. I mean, i know he did Sin City and all, but Daredevil was like, one of my faves and IT JUST HAD TO BE HIM?!?!?!

OK, think what you wanna think. I'm a geek - for I'm a girl who reads comic books, stuff like The Umbrella Academy (which is pure awesomeness mixed into a big A bomb of vocabulary), The Walking Dead, Doc Frankenstein and so on. Watched Slumdog Millionaire, Milk and Frost/Nixon and Rock N Rolla recently. I loved all of them. Slumdog especially. Blew me away. Coming second would probably be Rock N Rolla or Frost/Nixon. 1) A white, 5-foot-9 junior is the best high school basketball player in the state of New Mexico. unbelievable.

2) High school cafeterias are vast and spacious -- leaving plenty of room to spontaniously break into song and dance -- and are in no way packed, crowded or uncomfortable

3) It's completely acceptable for a female drama teacher to walk into the guys locker room where her young male students are showering.

4)There's only one fat person at East High School

6) Students at East High are allowed to work with chemicals unsupervised.

7) Kelsi has a magic piano: it not only plays piano but it plays guitar, drums and bass too

8) Lucas is apparently NOT gay... even though he dances, sings, hangs out with his girly sister, wears pink hats, and stares at sweaty basketball players because Disney does not promote homosexuality. he even acted in Milk, that gay rights movie.

1. Bella. About the most Mary-sue character I think anyone could have pulled off. I mean... "I'm oh so average, but seventeen guys have fallen in love with me on my first day of school". Her only "flaw" is that she is clumsy, but really, that just serves in making her more adorable and all the better for everyone to swoop in and save through all-too-convenient mishaps. Not to mention, people are saying she's a great role model? She is a teenage girl who wants to give up everything, her family and friends (whom she treats like scum), her life, for a boy whom she "loves" only because he's so freaking sparkly gorgeous. She has no dreams, turns down a great college to marry said disco ball and conceive demon spawn at age 18, right before she dies a horrific death after begging new husband to sleep with her for six thousand monotonous pages. she is annoying, helpless, selfish, whiny, and oh yeah, horny. She's boring, nosy, and self obsessed. obsessed too, with her demon spawn and wax boyfriend. it's like as if stephenie meyer wishes SHE herself were Bella, that's why she wroted it in 1st person view, and so obsessively in love with her main character, and that she wishes herself to have been to one to get screwed by a vamp. DREAM ON BIOTCH. never happening. that's why she had to write a freaking fairy tale. Bella is a friggin' pansy. the Girl needs to grow a backbone and stop waitin' around for everybody else to come save her. stephenie meyer and her stupid characters make the female race look like idiots. i can't agree more with ashlee. she makes us look whiny, and sluttish, and lame, and stupid, and completely in need of a male presence to go on. Her life can be broken down into about 50% of clinging to Edward like a parasite, 50% of obsessing over Edward, and 50% of thinking for Edward because she is too busy with Edward ,and who wouldn't want that pasty face douche *cough* *cough*. She is repeatedly described as "plain", despite having had 3 guys after her at once. She is also described as mature, despite doing nothing but cooking and cleaning for her dad. Bella is widely accepted as a role model and inspiration for young women everywhere. Examples of her character include never standing up for herself, fearing getting older because it would mean actual responsibilities, and being a colossal bitch to everybody that wants to help her. Another display of her strength is how she sank into severe depression for half a year, abandoned all her friends, treated her parents even worse than usual, and attempted suicide via cliff jumping- all because her boyfriend dumped her. Bella is also known as a mindless whore. Go on, little girls. She's the new Paris Hilton. Go be a bitch.

2. Edward Cullen. ed cullen? he sucks too. he sucks worse than any other character, excluding bella. Married to the most average of average human-turned-vampire-cos-she-couldn't-bear-to-grow-old-while-her-boytoy-didn't, with mutant baby who is in love with a werewolf. "The perfect scenario" as Edward put it. he is sick and twisted, he's a stalker, and rob pat? played him like shit. he just made ed look more retarded than he already was.

3. Renesmee. The hellchild (literally) of Bella and Edward, who lovingly drank Bella's uterus blood, broke her pelvic bones, and chewed her way out of the womb. She'll be full grown by just six months, even though vampires aren't supposed to age. This conveniently allows for Bella to evade the reality of parenting and skip all the hard parts, as usual. Little Nessie is also the lover of Bella's ex, Jacob Black. No, really.
Renesmee's brilliant and original mother Bella made up her gay ass name by combining other character's names into one huge train wreck. How can supposed good people be awful people in real life?

I feel emptiness. a void space in my chest. anger. hurt. frustration. indignity. regret. pain. distress. boredom. dread. humiliation. loneliness. I feel alien. Like I don't belong. I feel left out. I feel like an outcast. I feel judged. I feel misunderstood. I feel ignored. I feel things are effing unfair. For no reason.

I come home everyday, feeling alive. But the wrong kind of alive. I feel like a walking corpse. And my family are exactly the same. Hands stuck out, flesh hanging obscenely off their bones, walking around in circles, grunting about nothing whatsoever.

I want to come home and feel happy, feel like I've achieved something that day, feel... fulfilled. I want to save some kid from being squashed by a truck, I want to jump off a building but not die, just experienced the feeling of freedom from weight... I don't even care if I come home heartbroken, or sad, or angry, whatever. I just want to feel something...

That post about You Know Who down there? Yeah, I didn't even mean it. I don't look at boys anymore. I don't see them. Eventhough they're shockingly handsome I'd just go "oh." I don't feel that current, or that electric shock anymore. True, I didn't use to really genuinely care about boys last time either but at least I felt something! At least I'd notice a hot guy, or look out for one, or go bonkers over Josh Farro! Now when I see his poster on my wall I feel sad. Effing "S-A-D", of all things to feel when you saw your favorite person in the world.

Nobody calls me anymore.
I call them. I can't even talk long, 'cause my mom cares more about money than real things. If only I didn't have to be bound to any of these people by blood. If we weren't relatives, I don't think I'd ever approach them, talk to them, least of all be friends with them. I don't mix with shitty people. All I ever do nowadays is to read Harry Potter in my bedroom, go to school, sit down in my cubicle and do Math. All I've been doing is Maths. And then I come home, cook, go to sleep.

I cannot believe I'm spending my teenage years like this. The adults are always the ones who tell us these years are the best and we should treasure it by doing good things... what they don't realize is that they are filthy hypocrites. THEY are the ones holding us back from doing good things.

I sometimes wonder, are they huddled together right now in that little circle of theirs, laughing, having the time of their lives, joking about how someone's missing out on all the fun? And then wondering how I'd react if I were there to see it all.

I bawled for hours in my room last night. For no reason.

Felt better, after hearing Gerard Way screeching in my ears (in an awesome, un-annoying way). If MCR were to become a religion. I'd gladly convert.

'Cause with all that's going on, I don't give a shit about religion anymore. Christianity feels like zombies all over again. Blindly flowing with everyone else, knocking off the walls and not bothering to regain your steps again. Slouching around, praising the God whom, whatever you might say, you doubt and you criticize. You can't have your own opinion, especially if it's contradicting. And not having your own opinion is a major downgrade. Gah.

And then things started to get worse.

Everyone's an effing fake. I'm not being general here, and I don't want to mention names so I'll just say "everyone". They're all fakes. With little pretty phony smiles on their faces thinking it's so welcoming when really, it's sickening. All they ever talk about, is Chick Lits and lip gloss and You Know Who. They haven't experienced enough shitty things, in their protective little holes.

'Sup! It's a new year. I know that's obvious but that's how everyone starts out so what the heck.
Anyway. Went to Rachel's house on the 31st. Bombing smash that was. Her grandparents, and her moms and dads and aunts who are really her godmoms are tear-ee-feekkkk. Means terrific.

I'm gettin real good at Cancer on the piano. It's got the feel of a dying patient's final requests and all when I play. That's the one thing I pride myself at, at being musical and emotional during playing. ;p
I haven't started on the Evanescence one, and I keep screwing up the chords for Gavin DeGraw's Follow Through, but heck, my guitar ain't even acoustic. My acoustic hasn't even been sent for maintenance.
Sigh.
Anyway, I tried out a few Paramore songs yesterday. Misery Business, That's What You Get, Crush, For A Pessimist I'm Pretty Optimistic. And I could say I was pretty alright, I could hit the high notes and not go out of tune. And my voice doesn't hurt today, or feel irritated, which probably means I could've gone further.
Gosh life is getting sicker and more twisted by the minute.
I'm listening to Full Moon by The Black Ghosts, a la the Twilight Soundtrack, and it's a sickfest.

Right now, I'm thinking about what a slut that bitch is. You should hear the way she talks.

Now, I don't know why, but when other people start listening to music I listen to, (this is directed to those people I have condemned in one of my posts about typical Malaysians who listen to typical mainstream music), I get very ticked. VERY FRIKIN ticked. This is a warning right here. But if you aren't one of those people, go ahead, listen away. I like to promote things I love. =)

Now for those hardcore metal/screamo fans out there (I think I have Zi Xuan hooked on the unexpected), I have been listening to alot of BFMV http://www.bulletformyvalentine1.com and Disturbed http://www.disturbed1.com lately. They are very true to their metal roots, I think, which is a turn on. I particularly enjoy Down With the Sickness by Disturbed and Just Another Star by BFMV. Very meaningful songs. They are great records to listen if you are a very pissed off person, or if you are a pissed off person trying to let it all off your shoulders. That's what I do when I get very, very angry - I listen to BFMV - particularly Waking the Demon and Just Another Star. Just try to avoid their emo take on a few songs: Tears Don't Fall and All These Things I Hate (revolve around me). The latter is quite awesome to listen to, though. Oh yeah, speaking of Screamo - you HAVE to listen to Slipknot http://www.slipknot1.com (this is directed to those people who do not piss me off). Their latest album All Hope is Gone, has been rated 4/4.5 stars on some magazine, I forgot the magazine's name, but I am very sure of the rating, which I saw in MPH. Another band I've discovered recently, The Human Abstract (http://www.thamidheaven.com), which is also metal. Listen to Polaris (WARNING TO THOSE PEOPLE AGAIN), the intro is quite the shizz. Last but not least, my favorite psychopathic metal band - Korn (http://www.korn.com). Coming Undone and Twisted Transistor is one of their older tracks, but give it a spin, you'll find yourself psycho-ing along with them.

Now from emo and screamo to punk. Latest punk band I've been hooked on - Billy Talent. No, it's not a solo artist or the name of the lead singer, that's the name of the band itself. Fallen Leaves, Surrender and River Below have got me headbanging. (AGAIN, WARNING!). Ya know, I don't even think that even IF those stupid people went ahead anyway and listened to these bands, that they wouldn't find them to their liking. The music is too good for their shit ears. Anyway, back to books - the Twilight Saga (http://www.thetwilightsaga.com). Now, I'm asking you to give it a read not because everyone else is reading it and because it is the latest shizz, but because I personally find the book intriguing. Now, of course Harry Potter is a better read but how long ago has that been? The latest release of the fourth book of the Saga has only been 3 months ago, so it's still okay. Another thing - a good listener of music and a great fan of the books/movie MUST go and check out the Twilight Soundtrack. MUST MUST MUST. The soundtrack is just a load of awesome and more awesome. Paramore did two tracks for the album, Decode and I Caught Myself. I haven't listened to I Caught Myself, but Decode has been kinda catchy so far. Hayley's vocals improved =). And you should also definitely listen to the piano solos, "Bella's Lullaby" and I'm not sure if this is included: "Esme's Favorite". http://www.twilightthesoundtrack.com

For musical genuises/people born to be in the music biz/talented musicians/wannabe famous composers, please check these bands out, they are a great inspiration: Sunny Day Real Estate, Death Cab for Cutie, and who else but Coldplay? Really, give them a spin. Ash, you too. =) Songs: Welcome to the Black Parade. That's the only song that STILL gives be goosebumps even after listening to it for 2 years STRAIGHT - EVERYDAY, 24/7. It is the FIRST track I uploaded into my mp3, ya know? And for vocalists, go check out I Don't Love You, by MyChem too. Gerard's singing in that song is totally moving. Very strong message there, actually emotionally moves you and sends shivers down your spine. For the more sensitive people, the way Gerard sang actually made them cry. Truly, listen carefully, try to intrepret the emotions behind his voice. Very, very nice. It didn't make me cry, but it made me shiver, and also made me emo the rest of the day. Very good piece of work there. Also, if you want to cry EVEN MORE, cos you have not finished with your emotional stability, go check out Lullabies, by All Time Low. I'm not saying it's musically genius ror anything, just listen to the lyrics. Very, very moving, and very meaningful. It was written for the frontman's deceased brother, (but I am not sure if that is true, just something I came across in the web). And if you're not over emotionally bashing yourself up music-wise, listen to The Reason, Ala Hoobastank. For this track you must listen very carefully and try to imagine yourself in the frontman's position and what his thoughts were while writing that song, then you will be moved.

Now for movies, (gosh why do I sound like a magazine, or a typing ad?) Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging is coming out soon. It is based on a book by Louise Rennison. It's a Brit comedy directed by Gurinder Chadla, (Bend It Like Beckham, Bride and Prejudice). http://www.angusthongsmovie.com Girls, you MUST catch it. FULL OF HOT GUYS!!! I realized something totally random. Maika Maile looks ALOT like Gerard Way if looked at a certain angle.

Anyway, today was kinda boring if you ask me. The only fun part was seeing my peeps for the last time in school uniform together. Ugh. How unflattering it is.
Anyway, yesterday I went and saw Bond, James Bond. The audience was pissing me off. It was so not the Bond crowd! Screaming little kids and their doting mommies and daddies and hacking old people. How I wish I could have just GTAed the whole freaking cinema.

And I realized another thing totally random.
Are fedora hats the new black for the Malay crowd? They were all wearing it. And darn, they looked good. They definitely know how to dress, compared to the *ahem* Chinese crowd. Chinese boys wear the same thing every day. I compared, for the two were standing next to each other then. One had on fedora hats, scarves, skinny coloured jeans and nice shirts. And the Chinese crowd had on........................ T-Shirt and pants!!!! Tata!!!
It's the same thing every day. Ugh.
